About the KAfE Kids Summer Camp

The Polk Theatre is proud to present its first ever kids summer camp beginning July 13-24, 2009.  We are so pleased to have Amanda LeVasseur, a talented and experienced teacher, as our camp instructor. 

Mrs. LeVasseur is a graduate of East Carolina University and holds a Major in Music Education. She has performed with The Imperial Symphony Orchestra as a vocal soloist and has performed in annual opera evening fundraisers for Theatre Winter Haven. Currently Mrs. LeVasseur is performing the lead in “Kiss Me Kate” at Winter Haven Theatre.  Mrs. LeVasseur has taught dance for eight years and owns her own dance studio in Winter Haven.

The summer camp will have several focuses.

• Instruction in dance, voice, and stage performance.
• Instruction on producing an original production using all disciplines of the arts.

Come join us for a fun filled two weeks and learn the art of producing an original show!

Camp Dates: July 13 – 24, 2009 (M-F from 9am-3pm)

Grand Finale Performance: Saturday, July 25 @ 2pm

Ages: K - 13 years old

Fees: $295.00* per child, some scholarships available
*Lunch may be purchased for $3, snack will be provided for participants
