About the KAfE Educational Peformances in Schools
Understanding the importance and impact of the Arts in Education, the Polk Theatre and the Board of Trustees is pleased to announce a new initiative, “KAfE” Kids Arts for Education, a community outreach dedicated to children’s arts program at the historic Polk Theatre. As we all know, there is nothing more enriching than live performances on stage and arts programs for children to experience. In these tough times and cut backs in our schools we would like to help provide and expand the experience and enrichment of the arts for children in Polk County.

Educational Performances FAQ
Who can participate in the events?
Any students and chaperones who are currently home schooled, attending a private school or public school. Basically, EVERYONE! We encourage teachers to bring their classes as a field trip for their students!
How do I register to take part in these events?
To register for the events please fill out the registration form and return it to the Polk Theatre office.
How do I change a registration for I have already sent to the office?
Refer to the forms section below and fill out the change order form and return it to the Polk Theatre office via mail or fax.
Am I able to cancel my registration?
Yes. There are specific guidelines for canceling your registration and certain fees that may apply. For more information download and return the cancellation request form, found below in the forms section, and return it to the Polk Theatre office via mail or fax.
What is the cost per student of the the events?
The cost is $6 per student.
How does this further the development of my child?
Each show has specific curriculum connections. Please refer to each individual show above for the details on the specific developmental connections.
